Walter Radd has over 30 years of experience and has built hundreds of new homes within Hillsborough County. We take pride in giving each of our customers the care and the attention they deserve. It is our team's desire to give you the absolute best home building experience.

Choosing Your Builder
Our floor plan designs are designed to be built on your existing lot. We may have the perfect design already, or we can modify any of our existing plans to meet your needs. Plus, you customize your home with hundreds of options available. We have never built the same exact home twice!
Your new home will be built with the same care and detail that goes into every Radd Builder home, including the high-quality, energy efficient features and low maintenance features that have made Radd a trusted name in our community for over 30 years.
Choosing and Designing Your Plan
At Radd, you don't have to deal with the complicated pricing typically associated with custom building. We have a base price set for each of our floor plans with standard features and construction allowances. From there, any upgrades or modifications will simply be added to the price.
When you stop by for a preliminary appointment, we will go over your dream wish-list and draw up a proposal for your review.
Pricing
Whether you are ready to build on a lot that you own, or are searching for land to purchase, we can help take a look at your property (or property you are looking to purchase). Every property is different, so we can help!
Our pricing is setup to include the cost allowances for a typical site-built home. However, every lot is unique and keep in mind that yours may require additional clearing, filling, concrete, water/sewer lines, etc. Often the biggest surprise to a lot owner is the amount of work required to prepare a lot for construction. Walter Radd, owner of Radd Builders, will review your lot for feasibility and provide a quote if any additional costs are required.

Construction
We make the building process easy - we pull the permits, complete the survey, investigate the utility connections, work with the local government on building inspections, and handle every aspect related to the construction of your new home.
Before we begin construction, we will have a detailed Design Consultation to perfect the home specifically for you. Once the plan has been designed to your satisfaction, you approve the preliminary plan and material selections.
Radd Builders fully stands behind our work, and we include a one-year Builder warranty and Preferred Builders Warranty to protect your home for many years to come. Additionally, many of the products in your home include a separate manufacturer's warranty.

Financing
We have several lenders available to help you with your construction loan, or you can choose the lender. Once you have your lender in place, we work closely with them to obtain the information they need.
In some cases, if you own the lot free and clear, you may not need any money down - or very little down - to build on your lot.
